Entra TECH Pty Ltd Hosted PBX System Agreement Terms and Conditions

Agreement Terms and Conditions


  • Installation performed by an Entra TECH technician.
  • Includes installation of the equipment as quoted.
  • Basic configuration of computers and devices (smartphones, printers, etc.).
  • Basic customer training on handsets and applications is provided. Additional training for new or additional staff will be charged at $50.00 per half an hour.

Contract Term

  • 24 Months unless otherwise specified.
  • Early termination fees apply if the contract is ended before the contract end date. These fees are calculated based on the remaining months multiplied by the monthly fees.
  • One month’s written notice is required to cancel the service. Billing will continue until the end of the next calendar month.

Equipment – Hosted PBX and Telephone Systems

  • This agreement covers only equipment with the standard operating environment loaded.
  • Support for equipment not meeting the standard operating environment will incur additional charges to bring it up to standard.
  • Any equipment added after the agreement date is covered from the installation date.
  • The agreement covers faults and repairs due to normal wear and tear if the system is used per the manufacturer’s specifications.
  • Faults caused by flood, power damage, natural disasters, or malicious damage are not covered.
  • We reserve the right to use refurbished equipment as part of this agreement.
  • We are not responsible for equipment no longer available from the manufacturer or not supported by the manufacturer.

Adding Equipment or Services within an Existing Contract Period

  • Equipment and services can be added to an existing contract if the remaining contract term is more than six months. Charges will be at the current monthly rate, which may differ from the original contract pricing.
  • Early termination of additional equipment or services will incur an early termination fee based on the remaining contract term.

VoIP Services

  • Before reporting a fault, isolation testing on the service is required:
    • Restart your NBN Gateway/Modem/Router.
    • Restart the NBN Network Terminating Device.
  • All VoIP service faults should be reported via email to support@entratech.com.au.
  • As NBNCo does not provide a service restoration commitment, Entra TECH cannot guarantee restoration dates for VoIP services.
  • A failover number (mobile) must be provided to divert calls in case of internet service failure.
  • Internet reliability affects the reliability and security of Voice-over-Internet services.

Fees and Payment Schedule

  • Equipment must be paid for upfront unless otherwise specified
  • Installation and other charges must be paid before system installation.
  • Ongoing monthly fees will be billed on the first day of each month.


  • Finance is subject to a successful credit application with Betterrent.

Adjustments and Additional Charges

  • Adjustments will be made at the start of each monthly billing cycle for new users or server equipment.
  • Services requested outside this Agreement will be charged accordingly.


  • Applicable Federal, State, or Local Taxes will be added to each invoice. Client must provide a valid exemption certificate if applicable.


  • Support is provided during normal business hours (8:30am – 5:00pm Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays) through remote or onsite support.


  • Support requests must be emailed to support@entratech.com.au.
  • Support outside normal business hours will be charged at fee-for-service rates listed at Entra TECH Fee-for-Service Rates.
  • If no fault is found upon support request, fee-for-service rates will apply.

Limitation of Liability

  • Entra TECH is not liable for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages arising from services provided.

Additional Maintenance Services

  • Support for all hardware and systems is provided if covered under an active Vendor Support Contract and if parts are readily available and software is genuine and currently licensed.
  • Exclusions apply for any hardware or systems not meeting these provisions.

Monitoring Services

  • Ongoing monitoring and security services are provided. Entra TECH will attempt to rectify any discovered issues promptly through remote means.

Excluded Services

  • Excluded services include parts, equipment, or software not covered by vendor/manufacturer warranty or support, and costs for bringing Client’s environment up to minimum standards required for services, among others.


  • Client information will not be used or disclosed except as necessary for providing contracted services and will be protected against unauthorized use.


  • This Agreement is governed by the laws of the States and territories of Australia.
  • Entra TECH is not responsible for service failures due to circumstances beyond its control, including acts of God.

Termination of Agreement

  • This Agreement may be terminated by either party with ninety (90) days written notice.
  • Entra TECH will assist in the orderly termination of services if the Agreement is terminated, with costs for assistance to be borne by the Client.
